Resources for Current Lab Members
The purpose of this page is to provide information for current lab members to support their work, including protocols, best practices, etc. If there is something you think would be useful to add to this page, please let Jesse know.
Protocols
Many lab protocols are found in the OneDrive Shared Folder. You need to ask me for access. Only Katherine and I have write access to certain directories, so please let us know if you want something to be changed.
eLab Notebook
You can access an experimental eLab notebook here. You need to request an account using the web interface. My goal for this elab notebook is to make routine protocols more straightforward to apply, easily record relevant modifications, and make resultant data analysis / archiving more robust. A good first project would be to make a template for our picogreen protocol with Victor. It may also be useful as a LIMS if we can find the time to learn to use it in this manner.
GitHub
If you are doing a bioinformatics-based project (or even have a component that is bioinformatics) I would like you to set up a github account and join our github group. That way, you can start sharing code with me and others in the group right away. If this applies to you, talk to me about the procedure to get this set up and we can write up a protocol together that will live on this site.
Freezer Monitoring
Link to freezer monitoring site (only Jesse and Katherine have access to this).
